Turkey Earthquake Appeal
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake strikes south-eastern Türkiye.
The powerful earthquake has hit parts of Türkiye and Syria, killing at least 100 people and 440 injured. The tremor measured at 7.8 magnitude caused buildings to collapse and was also felt in Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan & Iraq. Needless to mention that the affected parts in northern Syria are areas of refugees.
The quake shook buildings for about 40 seconds and it's extent was felt by many residents in Beirut who left their homes and took to the streets or got in their cars to drive away from buildings.
Türkiye is located in one of the world’s most active earthquake zones and some 18,000 people were killed in powerful earthquakes that hit the country’s northwest in 1999.
Our field partners have mobilised to distribute much needed food & medical aid to assist the affected families in the area.
Help us relieve the affected families today!

Noble Acts's Response
Noble Acts is on the ground in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria working with partners to coordinate effective emergency response in the form of food, water, shelter, and cash assistance.
Khalid Al Abdullah, Noble Acts’s Programmes Partnerships Manager, coordinating our response said:
“Huge earthquakes have destroyed buildings in Turkey and Syria as people lay asleep. The death toll will increase, and our life-saving relief efforts will be hampered due to snow, rain, and freezing conditions. However, we are working around the clock to reach survivors and victims with your aid.”
Urgent support is needed to help a nation already suffering from the devastating effects of war and poverty.
